Wallowing ended; First day of the rest of your life, Yada...Yada... Yada...

Here ends all wallowing in loneliness!!!

We still miss The Gray's but on with life!!! Meanwhile...checking for seat sales to Washington.

Our friends leaving has given us even more of a push for us to go back to The Motherland. It's no secret that we are unhappy here.

I am now on a mission. To make our last year fly by. Well, specifically MY year fly by!!! For the most part, I've realized that when I'm happy...things in our family run a lot smoother! Funny, that?!?!?!

So, here is what I am doing or about to do to make that happen...

Get back into running!

I have actually started this...so far no one has had to come looking for me. I was up to 4 miles before everything happened with the house. Plan on a 5K in the beginning of fall!!!!

Keeping things simple.

More organizing / de-cluttering / down-grading and slowing down to actually enjoy ourselves.

Opening up my own Etsy store.

I have been making jewelry for a while now and have a great stash to sell.

Going (even more) Green!

I have, little by little, been switching all our cleaning products to earth-friendly ones. We have also changed to organic meats and eating meals without meat (okay, sometimes just less!). Organic fruits and veggies when possible. It's a little hard to do all this here, but I'm trying!!

I am going to calm down with the exclamation points.

A friend informed me that I have a problem;
"you need to ease up on the caffeine. too many exclamation points. Seriously, I love you, but all those exclamation points make you seem like a 15 yr old cheerleader after 12 Red Bulls. I thought it was an e-mail thing like sometimes periods turn into question marks, I thought your periods were turning into "!!!". "

Check out various charities and/or volunteer work I can do in the fall.

I've always wanted to help out, so why not now?!?!?

For now, I'm going to work on these things.

What is on your list?!?!????

So...you're counting down...just one year left in the US of A...is that what you mean?
If so, I'd better get off me butt and plan that trip to visit you... I keep saying to myself I'll do it. (That and then head to Alabama to check up on Steven.)
In the meantime, I'd like to get back swimming. I was swimming over a mile. My membership expired just around Mom's visit and I haven't renewed it yet. And now the weight is coming back. Rats, rats, alley cats!
Hey Helen, Maxville is this weekend. I have to work until 1 and plan to head out after that. I had to remind myself that you won't be there. Nuts! I've been in Ottawa 5 years now and this will be the first time there. (Al doesn't understand men in skirts playing in a band. He thinks it's odd.) I'm going by myself - needless to say.
Hmmmmm.....what else....I've stopped dyeing my hair. I kinda like the grey.
Oh yes, one other thing. This fall, I'll kick myself in the arse and get back into Scottish Country Dance. I love it. It's the motivation thing....my get up and go seems to have got up and gone.
Cheers my dear.....
oh....and a ps.
At least you've met some friends down there. Ottawa isn't a friendly town by any stretch. sigh...

I am totally into the running, and losing weight (as I write incessantly about). I am also working on my clutter project. Oh and I am trying to convince hubby we need another kid soon... Thats a big one!

On my wishlist... um...

1. sanity
2. the ability to multitask while trying to entertain baby and pre-schooler at the same time
3. a cleaning service for my house
4. to go to the bathroom undisturbed sometime in the next 5 years

I told you years ago about the exclamation points and you never listened to me...haha.

I'm down with the less clutter thing for sure. I'm thinking about getting a home computer just so I can put all my cd's on it and get rid of them. That of course may upset the balance of my other goal; to not do work from home. It's a tough call.

I am so honored to be quoted in your blog! I'm glad I'm facilitating positive change.

My list? One item: surviving moving back to Dartmouth.

You go girl with your list and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
